☕Step One: What is your garden?
Discover what you are truly good at and what brings you genuine happiness, because this is your garden -- the place where your purpose grows. Whether you work for yourself or someone else, pause and ask if your daily efforts actually satisfy you. Answer honestly, without apology or justification. Then consider a second truth: if your current income disappeared tomorrow, how secure would you feel? Often, money finds us when we stop chasing it and focus instead on the skills and passions that make us come alive. These become the abilities we can reinvent to create both joy and income. To be sure, you will have your share of frustration and loses as you pursue your financial independence but be assured. Felicitas in horto tuo est: your happiness is in your garden.
☕Step Two: Stay in your garden.
However, you promote someone elses product or service, whether it is work from home, or you travel to a small business, your value is measured by how much you help build their garden. Employers keep us because our work benefits their goals; the moment it does not, we become expendable. The same is true when you are promoting another persons business opportunity online; you matter only as long as you help them grow their empire. If you are genuinely happy with your 9‑to‑5 or with promoting someone elses offer, that is perfectly fine. But if you feel dissatisfied or stuck, it is time to return to your own garden. Others may try to pull you away from your purpose, especially when your talents help them build their dreams, not yours.
A dandelion never apologizes for being a wildflower as neither a snap dragon apologizes for being a garden flower. Each lives happily and blesses the earth. Papo, Poet of Ksana-Kai 🌻
☕ Step Three: Cultivate your garden.
True altruism is admirable, but caring for others begins with caring for yourself. If you neglect your own well‑being, your skills, or the work that brings you joy, how can you offer anything meaningful to anyone else? Cultivating your garden means developing your strengths, nurturing your passions, and building the kind of work‑from‑home life or business opportunity that aligns with who you are without shutting others out. We are all part of an interdependent human community, and genuine selfishness ultimately harms us. But when we invest in our own growth first, we gain the power to support the people we love. Just as a real garden requires tools, resources, and services beyond ourselves, our personal and financial growth depends on healthy exchange. When each person tends their own garden with purpose and happiness, we create a community of thriving, productive circles.

"I will start off by saying I am surprised as well as shocked at the poems I have read. So taken and shocked I had to read them again not from a negative view but more of a positive one. During the summer of 2011, a French foreign exchange student named Isadora lived with us for several weeks. She is memorialized in this book, Finding Isadora. Isadora is currently living happily ever after in France.
